I need help proof reading a short dialog I wrote for Spanish class, so if anyone here speaks Spanish I'd appreciate it if you read this over for grammatical and spelling mistakes. I know the accents aren't there, I don't know how to type them. And yes we're allowed to get help from non-students with our dialogs so I'm not cheating, for those of you that were thinking that. Don't know how many people here are Spanish speakers, but since I got a great responce for my Chemistry xtra credit challenge, I figued I'd give it a try...never hurts :) Thanks in advance.

- Where do you say he gave them to you, and not just anybody?

Disclaimer: I took up to Spanish 4 in high school, but have forgotten a lot since then (junior in college now.

<< 2: Que hiciste semana pasada?

"Que hiciste la semana pasada" sounds more natural to me.

<< 1: Mi amigo dio un boleto y compri un refresco. El preceo fue dos dolares
My friend gave me a ticket and I bought a drink. The price was $2 dollars
>>

Hmm, I don't think you're using the indirect object right here. I think it would be: "Mi amigo me dio un boleto y comp..."

<< 1: Porque tuvimos un estudiante descuento. Y yu, que hiciste semana pasada?
Because we had student discount. And you, what did you do last weekend?
>>

Maybe it should be "descuento estudiante" instead? Not sure. Same thing for "la semana pasada" again.

<< 2: Fue a la comedia de mi hermana. Fue un el cuento de hadas, y fue cenicienta su el hada madrina ayudo ir a pueblo en contro a el principe.
I went to my sisters play. It was a fairy tale. She was Cinderella. Her fairy godmother helped her go to town to meet the prince.

Should be: "Fui a la ..", and "a el" contracts to "al".

<< 2: Tuve que ir a clase
I have to go to class
>>

Should be: "Tengo que ir a clase"

<< 2: Audios
Bye
>>

"Adios".
