I just purchased one and it is suppose to be 1280 x 1024 at 75 hrz but mine is only at 60 hrz with no options to change as that is all that is available.
 
its suppose to be 75hz he didnt say its suppose to be 60

if your display control panel does not show 75mhz then make sure the monitor drivers are installed.
defualt refresh rate is 60hz bu you will probably need to install the monitor drivers (but then again XP will read the monitor capabilities and should read 75hz.)
either way you may want to verify the exact model by looking at the sticker on the back of the monitor then going to the manufacturer website and verifying the refresh rates.
 
I called sony and she was not sure on the refresh rate. She told me to remove the vidoe card driver and reinstall it. Like that will change the refresh rate of the monitor. It shows 60 hz everwere and no option to chang it. I whis there was a hs94 p owner here to see if there monitor was at 60 hz only.
 
Thank you as I could swear it was 75 as I read so many articals and reviews I must have mixed up a few monitors.

Dug do you have a HS94? what settings are you using for the lighting?
 
it is suppose to be 75 for my ati card you have to go into advanced display options and uncheck "list only avaiable resolutions" or something like that.
