Any software to force 1:1 on widescreen?

I've got a 7600GT and a 22" monitor, and the driver (91.47 Forceware) doesn't allow me to scale to a 1:1 resolution. I thought Forceware was supposed to do that, but that's beside the point as I'm getting an X1900XT which doesn't allow scaling.

I thought I had heard of a program (independent of drivers) that scales a 4:3 or 5:4 resolution to 1:1 display on a widescreen monitor. Unfortunately, I forgot to bookmark it. Does anyone know about something like this?

My monitor doesn't have such a setting. I saw a program that claimed to do it, but I never tried it out.

monitor has to support it, and you have to be on DVI.

If you switch to classic (noretard) nv panel, it will be first item - DIGITAL flat panel settings

you need to assign a hot key to toggle centered mode on and off, here's how:
1) Open and enable nveiw Desktop manager
2) Select hot keys tab
3) Select toggle LCD scaling and click "add"
4) Now select your hot key... I use ctrl +F1

hit ok exit... now you can toggle LCD scaling instantly on and off with ctrl + F1
