Do you honestly think converting it to stereo will give it "stereo" sound?
This is like converting a 128kbps MP3 to 192kbps.

Ok, i started digging through my old cdrs to find this for you.
Converting mono to stereo with the proper software can make a BIG difference, I did this several years ago when converting some mono game soundtracks (pcm format) into 44.1 khz audio stereo for CD. Here's what you want:
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Heights/7017/waveen.htm
I'm surprised the website is still there after all these years
I used 1.1 when I did that but it seems the current version is 2.0. Since it IS called Wav Enhancer, you must first convert your music file to .wav if you haven't already done so.

Basically both of your speakers will be plaing the same thing. You can't seperate one channel into two.

You're welcome, but don't thank me, thank the author! I'm sure he'd be happy to hear that someone found his software useful. BTW, is that also music from a game soundtrack?

It is impossible to turn a mono recording into true stereo as it was meant to sound.

Ya, you can't really do much. Stereo is when each speaker has a different sound playing for example.

Bass is on both speakers.
Singing is on both speakers
Drums are on both.
One guitar in on the left, and the other guitar is on the right.

Well I just tested his site again and downloaded a sample and everything was fine, but if it goes down again let me know and I'll upload the file to my homepage
