I have had a Skytel two-way pager for 4 years and until a few months ago the service was great. For some reason when i try to reply to a page or email the message fails and the pager is thrown into basic service. :|
It happend again last night at 1am when a co-worker couldnt fix a issue and he paged me to give him a hand. I typed out a reponse, hit send and the fricken message failed and put my pager in basic service. :| :| :|
I am not the only one this is happening to in the company. it happens to my boss, the dudes in telecom, us in sys admin.... and its not related to geographic location since we live all over the fricken place but still within their service coverage area. and like i said ealier until a few months ago it was never an issue.
Anybody with skytel have or seen this behavior? I just sent skytel a email telling them about the issue and i hope they dont come back with. "your service area is fine".
