Any sites with overclocked Xp's @ 2.4ghz?

Hey all,

was just wondering if there was a nice benchmark suite that had a 2.4 ghz Athlon included..

Would like to see how it holds up to the 3.2 P4...

😀

Thanks!

Me too... this is one area anandtech is lacking... I wanna see some CPU overclocking results! And then the results of having everything that can possibly be overclocked in a computer taken to their max, and benchmarked.

Exactly, even if it was only the top couple performers..

-Overclocked p4 @ 3.3 ghz running the 1000 FSB... 😀

- Overclocked XP @ 2.4 ghz running like DDR 450 or something.. 🙂

I'd actually like to see varying overclocks... maybe an Athlon XP1700 at it's stock speed, then at 2.0 Ghz, which is an attainable goal on stock voltage... then at 2.2 Ghz, which is the average I think... and then at 2.4 which you might get to if you get a good stepping... and then of course, if they haven't already maxed it out, find it's max, whether it's 2.5 or 2.6... whatever's stable.

Then maybe do a Price/Performance comparison... swap only the motherboards and CPU's in the rigs, and see which combo gives the best performance for the money... that will put an end to half the AMD vs. Intel arguments.
