Need to purchase a couple of MP3 or WMA files for a presentation at work. Can anyone recommend any sites?

You can play them through iTunes...or you can just burn to CD and re-rip as MP3.

No, you can play them on their software (on pc) or copy them to a cd as an mp3 format.

What's wrong with AllofMP3? Is it safe?

P.S. Any idea when AllOfMp3 will resume accepting paypal? It says currently unavailable and there is no way in hell I'm giving my CC number to a russian site.

Assuming that you use itunes for legit and legal reasons (covering my ass in recommending this to you) the is an application titled "harmony" which will remove the copy protection. Then you can use the raw aac file, id tag and all, in the presentation you need to if the program supports AAC.

What's the point of paying Russians to steal your music for you?

The only thing I know is that the Russians end up pockeing all the money and the artist don't get anything.

I don't think anyone is debating that, but no one's shown that it's actually illegal.

And you know this how?

Everything I've read about it says that they give a percentage to the Russian copyright agency (can't think of the name at the moment), which in turn gets it to the artists.

Just because it isn't exactly the same as it is in America doesn't mean its illegal. And don't you think if it were illegal, that the RIAA would be going after them?
