FWIW I'm running an EPoX 4SDA+ board w/ a P4-1.6A. Very happy w/ it. Today you'll want to consider a 645DX solution. All the 645 performance w/ updates. The top 645DX board right now looks to be the Asus P4S533. EPoX is conspicuous by their absence re 645DX.
Yes, the Sis645DX is a very stable chip, it might not be as fast (in benches) as the i845- series, but its cheap and stable.

I'm about to build a new system with this mobo. I'm convinced it's a great value. Has everything but the kitchen sink! Looks like a great overclocker too. ASUS P4s533 that is. BTW does that mobo have a pci/agp lock?
