Anyone come up with a good solution to add a second internal hard drive to the 2350? There's plenty of room inside for the second drive, but no mounting bracket (Dell's way of crippling the machine [along with no AGP slot] to push people towards the 4550).

There should be mounting brackets located inside the case. My Dimension 45xx series has them clipped on to the inside side of the case, should the user ever want to install extra drives.

heavy duty double sided tape:p u don't really need screws if you don't move it around a lot.

I definitely wouldn't use doublestick tape- it lets go when heated, the drive will definitely heat it up.... I've mounted drives using 4 short metal straps about 2" long, with 1/8" holes near the ends of the straps. Use the screws that hold the existing drive to hold the straps, suspend the new drive under the existing...

There are 4 mounting holes on the bottom of the drive. I've drilled 2 holes in the bottom of cases before and mounted them there.

I worked on some Compaq mAtx systems a while back that had the HD stuck to the top of the power sup with Velcro.
Yes that is how they left the factory. Seemed to work OK though. :)

I've also heard of using a soft foam to cushion and reduce noise, and placing the hd on the bottom of the case as well. I can only imagine how it was secured down.
