Any Silver Arrow Users Here? No, those temps are on AIR!

Beats the H70 (but you knew that, right?) at a given noise level.
The H70 can approach the stock configuration (fans at full speed - barely audible in a library hehe) but that's with a Delta screamer on that radiator! Nobody wants a PC that can challenge a Dyson in a decibel contest, right? :awe:

Here's the damage, err results:

System loaded with Linpack for over ten hours. Speedstep was ON, however that appears to make idle temps drop to silly lows.

Nice temps. I was thinking of getting that cooler for my next build. Hopefully whatever case I end up choosing will be able to fit it.

Not just the case but memory AND socket location on your board. The cooler is HUGE!

Because of the top of the (heatspreader-less) memory and the bolt that adjusts pressure in the center, the fans need to sit higher. High enough that they are touching the window on my FT02 red edition.

But being cool AND dry is good. If the case was bigger I could store wine in there.

My H70 seems to be slurping a lot longer when powered up. I think it's time to play operation on this thing. Definitely an ice test like the H50 is probably warranted. Comparing temps between the two should actually very effectively show improvements of the new waterblock (if they indeed exist!). Many feel the H70s capacity is improved upon doubling up on the rad thickness. I guess we'll find out.

Well the FT02 was one of the cases I was considering, so at least I know it fits it, if just barely.

The longer I spend in the Cases & Cooling section, the more I want to spend on cooling. It's like a disease!

Going with this one for my build. I chose memory that I don't think will have any fan bumping issues, and it looks like the tower will fit inside my case (but just barely!).

On second thought, wait a minute... do you mean here that the tops of the fans are higher than the caps on the heat pipes?

I'm trying to judge from this photo, and it's difficult due to the angle it was taken:

Yes the tops of the fans definitely tower above the fancy heatpipe caps.

nyker96 posted this in an earlier thread (same case as mine):

Guess the only remaining question is whether or not the case can be closed up (again, hard to tell from the camera angle).

I'm probably just going to have to give it a shot and do a trial mockup without peeling off the protective tape or applying compound, in case it ends up not fitting.

You can close the case however some resistance is felt and there is definitely some pressure on the window. It's not necessary to use force and nothing will break though.
