I'm interested to see if 4 ALU's made a difference from the 2 ALU design.

I'm really interested in the new Transmetta efficeon series of microprocessors myself, so bump^ They keep promoting the 256-bit VLIW engine and new Code Morphing Software with longrun power and thermal management technology, and with the on-die memory controller, 4x AGP, HT, 400DDR, 1ghz+ speeds, and nForce3 Go 120 Southbridge plus how small the combo is they could make a sweet tablet PC I'm hoping. I'd love to have the wifey be able to carry a little tablet that still packs some punch and has excellent battery life. Any thoughts on how the flash memory bus interface it features could be used in handhelds and such?

I think you're savy to have it now, I may jump in too! I knew I should grab AMD when it was sub $10 but went another direction at that point and obviously have lived to regret the decision to hold off :(

Some third party announced Southbridge support was finished for it. Should be sometime soon I'd expect.

The shareholders previously sued the company b/c they took to long to get their products out (or apparently designed).
