My new Samsung MP3 portable is great so far except that the amp only goes to 10, and for some of my ripped CD's I'd like that "extra push over the cliff...Eleven. One louder." Since I can't change the amp itself I'm looking for some extra-sensitive 'phones. I slightly prefer over-the ear but anything lood with good sound and under $150 will do.
I realize I could normalize the MP3s to raise the volume a little but I prefer to leave them as-is since I also play them through my stereo system from my MP3 jukebox.
