i dont care about the 1:45 time off burning, but specifically related to game backups and other features, any compelling reasons (yes i know they aren't that big of a price difference, but cost is a minor consideration).

With the newest version of CloneCD, SafeDisk2 is no longer an issue with the LiteOn 16101b

I was able to back up my legal copy of Pool of Radiance which uses SafeDisk2!

 
Wart - FYI - their 32x burner is going to be available soon, the bios is already listed on their site, another reason to keep waiting???
