I'm trying to find a reputable dealer where I can preorder a Gigabyte 8INXP motherboard for around $225 - $250 shipped. Anyone know a place which is offering this?

Elvis2...Hang in there coz! There are all sorts of decent vendors taking pre-orders for the mobo in question. Try pricegrabber.com pricewatch.com resellerratings.com bizrate.com(which had several vendors hits.) newegg.com egghead.com It's your money, but you might want to wait a bit...it doesn't seem as though the GB mobos aren't going to hit the streets till the end of this month anyway, shortly after they do, prices will start to drop as vendors begin to compete for sales. Plus, if ya wait a bit, you'll be able to read some "real world" reviews about them...just some food for thought...

I would like to wait for prices to fall. But this computer is a "Christmas present" for my little brother. He needs it to last until he goes to college so I've been holding out for a while to get a granite bay chipset instead of one of the i850's or other chipset.
