Yup, sounds about right. With Paypal, all innocent parties suffer while the scammers go scotch free. My last incident was when I disputed a payment because an ebay scammer didn't ship an item after getting paid. Paypal sided with the scammer when he provided a shipment tracking number that shows the item was shipped. That's great and all, but it doesn't show it was shipped to ME nor to MY ADDRESS! Good thing I paid with my credit card so I called my credit card company and explained everything. They reversed the transaction and basically bitched slapped Paypal for not siding with me.
didn't paypal cut you off from their services as you didn't follow procedure by doing a chargeback?
I had to do a chargeback to get money back for an item I never received, never heard from paypal about it, they dont take the chargeback anyway, the seller does.
In my case the guy shipped something somewhere so he had a usps shipper number, after a few weeks he said the item was returned to him for a bad address (B.S.) he didnt want to refund but said he would and he would take his time about it, I got tired of waiting and had Amex handle it for me
