any replaced their iphone 3g glass screen before?

i got a used iphone with cracked glass screen. any one replaced those before?

what's good case w/ screen protector for the 3g?

I replaced my roommate's. You can get the kits for like $20 on Amazon, and then after that, just be really patient, and remember, the rubber stripping is part of the frame, not the glass, so don't mess with it. Go slow, be patient, and don't force anything. Oh, and have a blowdryer and some rubber gloves on hand (blowdryer for the glue on the screen, gloves so you don't get prints and smudges on the glass.
