Any recommendations on where to stay what to do In Montreal?

I have to go to Montreal for a week on a business trip and need some advice on where to stay and what to do. Apparently, we are going to have a lot of down time between training courses.

There's a restaurant called Baton Rouge that has amazing ribs. It gets pretty crowded so be prepared to wait, but it's worth it.
