Kind of interested in some display glasses with at least a 1024x768 resolution.

not even sure where to begin.

Anyone have any experience with a pair?

The highest affordable ones only reach 800x600. One pair I know of is the z800 and it's US$800 and up. You should check out the Nvidia 3D stereo forums. You are using an Nvidia card right? Otherwise just forget it. Only Nvidia still updates their stereo drivers (sort of, the latest ones are 3rd party from guru3d, but they work good.) The major benefit of the goggles is to play games stereo but you could also view 2d things but I don't know how useful that would be.

I don't have an HMD but I do have eDimensional shutter glasses from Newegg that cost like 40 bucks. Wih those you'll want to have a decent video card like 6600gt or 6800gt or up and a CRT capable of refresh rates greater than 100Hz is a must. The 3D is really cool.

There aren't any stereo drivers for Vista yet as far as I know but keep an eye on the forums.

was hoping to use them at work. My only requirement was that it had to have a minimum resolution of 1024x768 as I would need them to work with a program I use at work. The smallest resolution it supports is 1024x768, anything less and buttons are missing.

I remember when several companies came out with these in the mainstream market, or at least tried to get them mainstream. Needless to say they all failed. http://www.i-glassesstore.com/ is the last one I remember that is still around.

Tom's did an article on doing a 3d wall display with projector and stereoscopic glasses which might be more useful.

Edit: Just found one I'd never heard of before. www.icuiti.com
