About 4 -5 months ago, I bought a USB - IRDA adapter for around $12. It is a BAFO brand. I think I got it from Compugeeks. I haven't had any probelms with it. I use it mostly for my Samsung Cell's.

I bought a Bafo IRDA adaptor linked here so I could send stuff from my computer to my sony ericsson cellphone. A bit on the expensive side, but it worked straight of the box, I've never had any problems with it, and I've saved plenty of money on ringtones and wallpapers. That was just a random link from a google search - I coulda sworn I got it off newegg awhile back for around $25, but I checked and they don't seem to have it anymore.

just an update...i ordered the Bafo model (and it finally arrived from Shentech.com) and it worked flawlessly out of the box. Total install time was about 20 seconds and it was already picking up my cell phone. This piece is highly recomended!

edit: just wanted to also add that i'm using Oxygen Phone Manager to handle the phone backup. This program is sweet!!!

I bought the cheapest one i could find on ebay. $5 total with shipping or some price like that. I think its name is "High Edge" but its not marked very clearly. I just had to mess with the settings and it has worked great.
