Ideally this program would compress certain directories, encrypt the archive, and back it up to a computer on my network.

There is a free version on the Syncback site, and I think it supports compression.

It doesn'tn support encryption, but the commercial one does. It might be worth it for me to buy it. I'm just surprised I can't find an OSS implementation that can match it.
