Any recommendations for a good HD tuner?

I'd like to find an HD tuner, but I'm not really sure what to look for... I've seen some on Ebay, Amazon, but I'd like some help deciding which brand to buy, how much to spend, etc.

I've seen some no-name ones on Ebay for like $60 shipped, some Sony/Samsung for ~$100-140, etc - I just don't know what I should look for.

Thanks for any help!

Check out the PVR forums. GBPVR and mythtv are the best places to find out volumes of info on tuners and trust me once you get a good tuner you will want to run a PVR software.

I myself got an aVerMedia combo PCIe (m780) which has a digi tuner (not positive it is HD but I'm pretty sure) and a seperate analog tuner with hardware mpeg2 encoding. They can be had white-box for $80ish. The card is very new, but very good.

This guy is looking for one for his projector - that means a stand-alone, right?

I found a new DirecTV H20 a guy is selling on Craigslist for $65; is this a good deal? Specs and everything looked pretty good.
