here is what i need:

1. computer desk : L shape prefered
2. computer chair : gonna sit on it for every waking hour
3. desk lamp or floor lamp (1-2)
3. a decent graphic card which can support 3 lcd monitor output
4. 3 lcd monitor (20-24 inch size)

I am a programmer , so i need to sit in front of my computer forever and try not to
hurt my back and eyes too much. Please help me and recommend me the best i can buy within my budget. thanks

3 2405fpw's from Dell (go for around $800 a piece online).

2 7800gtx's in SLI about $900 new for both (I'm actually selling 2 myself atm pm me if you're interested). You'll need the power if you'll be doing something other than just browsing the net as 3x1920x1200 does take its toll...

Desk & Chair check out staples - they have some ridiculously nice chairs for $100-150 ish. I have a $50 leather executive style one from them and it's great.

Lamp - floor lamp would work best - no room on your desk after 3 2405fpws lol...

Good luck..

I would second the 2405FPWs (maybe wait until the 2407). Thats getting pretty wide, so you might decide to get 2 2405s flanking a single 2001 or dual 2001s around a 2405. Although if gaming quality or other things are a factor, then you should possibly consider some other monitors.

If you can wait a bit, see how the 7900 cards turn out. You might be able to save yourself some money and/or get better performance.

You could pair a motherboard with integrated video with a decent video card to get the 3 monitor support.

As for a desk and chair. You can get a nice sturdy desk for probably $500 no problem. I would spend at least that much if not more on getting nice chair. Its what will determine how comfortable you are at the computer. Be cautious about it being too comfortable though, don't want to fall alseep during late night programming sessions or anything.

Chair, get an Aeron. Your butt and back will thank you for it. Just make sure you get the right size, since it comes in 3 different sizes.

lian li aluminum desk FTW 😉
$50 leather discount chairs from officemax/staples suck. I got one before and the leather tore apart in about 2 months.
It was squeaky, and wasn't too comfortable. You get what you pay for.
