any recommendation for a quite video card?

for HTPC ,PCI-E, budget less than 300, prefer EVGA card but it seems they have so many cards now, really cofusing.

buy vid card for ~250, put vf-700cu or arctic cooler on there....since for htpc, get AC, helps exhaust heat

Asus released a 7800GT with passive cooling, it doesn't have a heatsink, so it doesn't make any noise.

A 7800gt with a zalman cooler preinstalled - keeps it cool and quiet. In case you dont want to do it yourself.
