Any reccomendations for a super slick mouse pad?

Hi,

I'm looking for a new mouse pad. One that has a very low coefficient of friction so that the mouse will glide very easy. I use a cordless optical mouse, so it's kind of heavy.

Thanks, Jason

Ps I wasn't sure which forum this went in, so I put it in 2 different ones. Hope that's ok.

i dont know if low coef of friction is misunderstood, or marketting, because it seems to me, that I personally dont care how easily the mouse glides along the surface, as long as it takes essentially the same force to start the mouse moving as it does to keep it moving(ie coef of kinetic and coef of static friction should be about the same)
just my 2 cents

also, i use the green fabric mouse pad that came with a compaq 100mhz computer

I have a fUnc sUrface 1030, here's my review of it that I put on Newegg:

I've used a couple other gaming mouse pads and this is my favorite.

Pros:
-Two textures to choose from
-Mouse glides over very smoothly
-Rubber base stays in place
-Not too big, not too small
-Mouse clip works very well
-Good looking tin case for transportation
-Excellent quality
-Reasonably priced (for a gaming mouse pad)

Cons:
-Could be cheaper if they didn't include the case
-Surface might wear out after a while, but I've having no problems after 6 months.
-Seems to attract dust and dirt
-...

I use this with my Logitech MX510 mouse and teflon mouse feet tape. This combo is awesome, my mouse glides over the pad like it's ice. I think the pad is worth the every cent.

I use a RatPadZ GS, I've loved it, the mouse glides over it effortless, and it's really cheap at NewEgg...

same, mine hasn't worn out either, and I also put mouse skatez on the mouse. Some people have said if you dont, the little grip things on the mouse can wear it down, but my friend uses his without them and has had no problem. Anyway, if you get this one, I recommend getting mouse skatez and this func liquid they sell at their site. The mouse feels like it is on an air hockey table when you use these.

I agree. the liquid stuff really helps the mouse just glide...but keep in mind its nice to have SOME friction...itll be harder to slow down the mouse to aim in quick shooting games if theres zero friction on that pad!
