Any reason why this wouldn't work?

I am the proud, new owner of a Lenovo X60. As I do with all new computers, I reformat, install the OS with the latest drivers and core applications then image the drive. Of course, this obscenely expensive laptop comes with no XP discs. I have learned that for a fee they will send me recovery discs.

In the meantime, I have an OEM XP home SP2 disc and am thinking of simply using this media with the XP home product key from the laptop. Any reason why this wouldn't work?

I've heard many times that this works. I can't give any personal verification though, since my one home computer with Windows on it, I purchased XP Pro Retail.
