Any reason why my thread is still locked?

I started a thread in FS/FT and was pretty certain I met the requirements. Turns out I forgot to check my e-mail visible tag and got the thread locked. I responded right away via PM after making the correction but my thread is still locked here quite a while later. Am I missing something or expecting this to be resolved faster than I should be?

Also, when I was viewing my profile (by clicking my avatar in this thread to see what it would look like to anyone) it displayed my email incorrectly. Is this a common bug or do I need to reset my email?

Looks common enough to me, anti-spamming measure I'm assuming. Disregard the e-mail display comment.

The generally don't unlock the thread, you have to post a new one.

Odd, it seems a repost would be the most cluttered way to handle things.
