Any reason why my speakers are making a buzzing sound?

They are logitech Z340(?)'s been working fine but an iritating buzz happens when they are on. I've tried the basics, unplugging, restarting any other suggestions. Also nothing has been changed or added to the PC.

Thanks.

Sounds like EMI from what is called "A/C hum." That usually results for poor or missing shielding. Sometimes it can be "cured" by undressing wires/cables - have them cross at right angles rather than run parallel to one another, especially if an A/C cord is involved. Try just moving speakers around. A change of patch cables can't hurt either to some with better shielding.
