System Spec

R5 1600 @ 3.9ghz with B450 Pro Carbon AC
2x8 gb DDR4 @3466
RX580 8gb
1 x 512gb NVME
1 x 1tb crucial ssd
2 x 1tb hitachi 7200 rpm
3 x fans 1 cpu cooler , 1 x 140mm exhaust 1 x 200mm intake.

Im not 100% sure how much wattage i'm pushing but It's definitely less than when I was pushing a R9 280X

It's been chugging along just fine, not sure if it's worth upgrading to a beefier unit. I was looking into the lines of either a 650-850watt evga g2/g3 or equiv.

I'll eventually replace the CPU to the next gen ryzen but overall I hold onto my stuff for a good amount of time.

That is a great PSU made by SEASONIC , no need to change right now. G2 and G3 are very good choices for the future. Also look into SEASONIC Focus models.

If I upgrade to a more efficient unit either gold or platinum. How much would I actually save ?
I use it about 3-4 hours a day.
