Any reason to move from HDD+SSD Cache to 500GB SSD?

So I'm currently running a 640GB WD mechanical HDD coupled with a 64GB OCZ Synapse Cache SSD (http://www.storagereview.com/ocz_synapse_cache_ssd_review). This solution works really well - The system boots incredibly quickly, and frequently used applications start almost immediately. It's really only when copying large amounts of files or when running a big application or game for the first time you notice the HDD lag.

The reason I went this route was that at the time, SSD's over 120GB were just not affordable. I feel I need at least 500GB contiguous space for my OS+Applications. Now, with the Samsung 840 Basic, a 500GB SSD is actually within reach. It's just that 90% of the time, with the SSD cache I don't even notice I don't have a "real" SSD. Most of the time, it just feels like a 640GB SSD.

It's probably not worth it, then. Smaller sizes might not go down in price much, but the larger sizes have been, along with WA and performance improvements. It might be something to do if you do a $1200+ scratch upgrade (or rough equivalent partial upgrade), but if what you have works well enough, the longer you wait, the cheaper and faster the big ones will be, barring some strange catastrophe (FI, the flood).

Yeah I guess waiting makes the most sense, since I'm quite happy with my current solution. I'm not getting the 500MB/s speeds of the latest SSD's, but the annoying lag and HDD trashing is nearly completely gone with the cache drive.
