Any reason to believe my HSF is not seated?

Essentially, my temps are running about 62*C Under load (according to TAT. Speedfan says 50*C) running at 9x315 Vcore: 1.45 (Windows wont be stable with any less). When I touch my HSF (Arctic Cooling Freezer 7), the thing is merely warm. It doesn't feel overly hot and I can leave my fingers on it for as long as I want and not really burn myself. I have the CPU fan running constantly and the heatsink on the CPU is right-up next to the 120MM exhaust fan, so the heat should be getting sucked out pretty quickly.

I've never had an aftermarket cooler before, so is this normal, or do I not have the thing seated properly? I would have figured it would be hotter.

Anytime you run that much voltage through a C2D you are gonna start having heat.

And a cool to the touch heatsink is not necessarily a good sign... it can mean that the heat is not being transferred to the heatsink properly.

The AC Freezer 7 is not the greatest HSF out there but it gets the job done(I have one so I know). You might want to recheck the mounting and amount of thermal goop on it as the Freezer 7 can be a little tricky in these regards.

In any case, 62C under load isn't that bad but is as high as I would personally feel comfortable running. Intel's TAT is the thermal program that matters most, Speedfan is worthless IMO.
