Any reason not to buy a GF2 Pro 64MB (MSi)?

Anything wrong with this card I should know about?
Seems absurdly cheap ;)

I don't care about 2D quality...I only use 800x600x32x85Hz.
I don't care about DVD quality, I have a DVD Decoder card.

Just want gaming, for Quake3, UT, etc.
Also for Max Payne and hopefully Doom3.

Is there anything wrong with this card or is it just a realy good deal?

Never heard of any yet. Everybody was going crazy over it when Newegg was selling the boards with 5ns DDRs. If you don't like cards that can produce high FPS. This is not for ya. :p

Other than that, you can't go wrong. :)

If you have the money, then go for the pro..It performs nicely.

lol no that was in reference to 2D.
I don't care about 2D quality because I only use my desktop in 800x600.

I would like to game in 1024x768 at least.

I've been using the MSI 64mb GeForce2 Pro card for a little over a month now. Damn good card, I think it's got the best bang/buck ratio right now. I run my 21" IBM Trinitron at 1280x960@32bpp@100hz and I don't have any complaints.

This is a nice, fast card, and the price is right. Quake 3/UT/Max Payne will fly on it. Doom3...well...nothing is known about this one yet :)

yeah I know nothing is known about Doom3...and I shouldn't try to buy more than 2-3 months into the future anyways. You'll get burned every time. I just hope ;)

Ok I think I'll order an MSi GF2Pro64MB :)

GF2 Pro is probably the best value in vid cards, priced at $150 and delivering near GF2 Ultra Performance.
