Im just trying to determine if theres any reason besides the chip itself that my Barton 2600+ wont do 200, or even 198fsb.
System specs:
Barton 2600+, not sure the exact stepping, batch code is 0405 though.
Enermax 431w PSU
Asus a7n8x-deluxe with BIOS 1005 (thinking of maybe flashing up? Dont think it will help)
2x256 OCZ pc3500 EL (with slowest timings when trying to OC)
WD 80g 8mb cache
SB Live! PCI soundcard
cpu, chipset and gpu all watercooled. Board temp runs 26c, cpu temp runs 38c, 41c under load. At 200fsb the only way I can get it to even boot into windows is at 1.825 vcore, and that kicks out of windows after 5-10 minutes. I havent bothered with 1.85 because I didnt think it would help
So I mean, besides the possibility of the chip sucking, anything else I could try to make it to 200fsb?
