Any reason for overclocking southbridge?

I've got an Abit P35-E, and my Razer Barracuda's driver file keeps giving me a BSOD. I wonder if increasing voltage to southbridge would help at all.

If not, what is the purpose of overclocking the southbridge. I can see oc'ing the northbridge might be needed if you overclock FSB.

However, my FSB is only at 266x4=1066, so I really don't think I need any kind of voltage increase with NB and SB.
