am i gonna have to hire a lawyer in the states and one in country i buying property in?

It is probably a good idea to have a US lawyer look at the paperwork. Be careful.

gonna buy some now and vacation(read start building home)
so when kids go off to college i can move there full time.

i would talk to an attorney in the US and see if he recommends talking to an attorney out of the country. if so, im sure he'll be able to recommend one.

this goes without saying, but find a good, reputable US attorney (property attorney).
