I'm using DixieSys and occasional the server goes down. I'd like to be able to know when just to keep a record of the uptime and perhaps head to their IRC support to make sure someone is on it.
Are there any programs I can run in the background that will server the server or seperate services and log the information?
My computer is on 24/7 anyways so I might as well....
