Any programmers with a WSXGA+ or WUXGA LCD laptop?

I'm placing an order for a Dell Inspiron 8600 in the next day or so, but I have a last minute concern about the displays. I know this has been discussed with regards to gaming, but I'm also concerned about the ability to use the laptop as my primary development machine. Are there any problems with reading the text? Is it so small that concentrating on text for many hours at a time would cause eye strain rivaling that of a Britney Spears sighting? I'd like as much real estate as possible, as I could open up EVERYTHING all at once and still have room, but I need to be able to work.
