I've got this crap pc at work, with some no-name Sis based motherboard. It's got an Athlon XP2000 chip, but that's all about all I know. I'd like to figure out which model it is exactly so I can try to update the bios and setup some environment monitoring.

I've looked all over the board for some kind of model number, I got nothing. Any programs out there that can identify it?

All you need to do is write down the BIOS ID string, shown at the bottom of the POST screen while memory is counted, and also note the BIOS vendor.

Then go to www.wimsbios.com, and learn how to decode that BIOS ID to find out the board vendor. Or just post that ID string here first, plenty of them are well known.

Aida32 will give you more info than you know what to do with. A truly excellent free program. Download the enterprise edition.
