Any problems with refurb memory (flash)?

I picked up a pretty juicy deal from newegg- 128mb secure digital memory chip with a USB reader (both refurb) for $43 shipped.. I figured that since there are no moving parts that the risk of failure is pretty low - fail assumption or not?

I'm using a 1G Compact Flash I got for $153 shipped from Newegg refurb. Had no problems with it.
