any problems with KT7 & Fortissimo upgrade

I still have an old SB PCI64 in my system (hey I bought it for $27 4 years ago and it has served me so well. I hated to get rid of it) and was thinking of upgrading. I have a KT7Raid board and was eyeing up either a Fortissimo II or a SB Live 5.1 Value. I'm leaning towards the Fortissimo. Are there any known problems with this combination? I know the SBLive family had some issues a couple months ago but they should be fixed by now. I've just been getting some crackling with the sound lately (actually since I upgraded to IE6) when I'm watching flash movies on the internet. I figured it might finally be the sound card giving up the ghost or something else but EAX and A3D can't be all that bad of a bonus.

(Note: limited budget so $40 shipped is my max.)

Thanks a bunch guys (and gals).

I have an Abit KT7 mobo with the Fortissimo in and the second driver that came out a few weeks ago install. The card works great no
probs what so ever. So I say check it out besides i can say this card kicks some but...I got rid of my SBLive for it and don't plane to go
back...

I'm using win98 (original). How many IRQs is this thing going to take up? Do we have the big legacy hog that is typical of the Live?
