Any problems using a Sony PS2 Dual Shock 2 game pad with a PC computer?

Also, how does the Saittek P880 compare to the Sony PS2 Dual Shock 2,both for gaming on a PC computer?
 
I would think everything comes down to the drivers for the PS2 controller. From the PS2 to USB adapters I've seen out there, the software isn't the best and genearlly people etiher get it, or they don't. And if they do, they don't get rumble. BUT i might add that this was well over a year ago when I was looking around, so YMMV 😉
