Any problems using 2 services on the same port?

I was able to get access to my slingbox on campus using port 443, but all the others i tried failed.

Now i want to SSH from campus, can i use port 443 for that as well? Do i just have to use one at a time?
 
only one process can listen to a single socket at a time.

I'm sure some programmers can provide more info, but in a nutshell - no.
