I have an ELSA Geforce DDR card that someone is offering me a Creative Labs Geforce2MX card *AND* Voodoo3-2000PCI in trade for...
Now that sounds good, doesn't it? :) How bad is the CL MX card? I know it's a little slower than the SDR counterparts but that won't make much difference with my Celeron 450A and I can trade one of the two cards for a CPU upgrade or something...

I need to decide by tomorrow... educated opinions please!

I have a Creative Geforce 2 MX card (the Annihilator 2 MX) with the DDR ram and it is slightly slower than my A-Open Geforce 2 MX. If I had to choose I would probably go for the A-Open. To the Creative card's credit, I have yet to have anyissues with any games that we have tried. The A-Open card has troubles with Rogue Squadron 3D. Of course we have only tried limited testing.;) As to the value, it is a pretty close trade, and with mwave offering oem geforce annihilator pro DDR cards for $99 I would think that you may be getting the better of the deal, money wiselink The DDR geforce 256 card is faster at higher resolutions than any MX card, and the Creative DDR MX card is the slowest of the lot. The Voodoo 3 card might get you $40 or $50, the MX card might bring $80 to $90 on an auction site. Hmm, guess I am not much help. I might be tempted to stay with the Elsa card if it is working well, OTOH, it might be fun to try the MX card, swap the V3, and see how it goes. If you don't like the MX card, you could probably sell it and try a Radeon. or pick up one of the ever cheaper Geforce DDR's or Geforce 2 GTS cards. Good luck Chuck
