Any problems going from DisplayPort out to DVI/HDMI Display?

So Haswell can run three displays, independently, as long as one of them is DisplayPort. I don't have any DisplayPort monitors at the moment. Browsing NewEgg shows that DisplayPort equipped monitors are more expensive than HDMI or DVI equipped displays. Would there be any problem with running a third HDMI/DVI display using a converter cable from the DisplayPort out on the motherboard?

If the monitor is 1920x1200 or less resolution, you will have no issues. If they are 2560x1440 or higher resolutions the the converter adapters are more expensive and may have issues.

Just make sure it's an active converter, not a passive converter. The difference is that the active has on-board electronics to actively convert the signal (hence the name) which makes it more expensive ($25-$30).
