Any problems Ghosting a C: boot partition from my laptop to a non-boot partition of my regular computer?

Will I create any conflicts by Ghosting the C: boot partition of my laptop computer to a non-boot partition of my desktop computer?

Will the second copy of Windows and all of the laptop's drivers create conflicts, or will they simply not load because they are not on the boot partition?

No. Windows only loads the drivers/registry on the boot partition. You won't be able to run any programs installed on the drive (since they'll try to use information in the "current" registry, which won't match what they're expecting). Just make sure the drive you ghost it to is not set as the primary boot device!

If I have the same program installed on the correct C: partition of my main computer, could I still access data files created on my laptop?
