Any problem using a regular SATA cable with a SATA II hard drive?

The last customer review for the hard drive mentioned a SATA II hard drive cable.

Is there any difference between that one and the standard red / orange SATA I cables I already own? Any potential for compatability problems or is there a performance hit with the SATA I cable?

I am just using a regular SATA cable on mine. TBH I did not even know there were SATA2 cables (duh).

I'll have to do some research now.

Yeah, I did a search and wonder if it just has a high maximal transfer rate that real world hard drives just won't come close to saturating (?)

There is no such thing as a SATAII cable. There's a secure connect version made by WD but it's just harder to pull out by accident.
