well if you noticed in the past i was looking for a digital camera... well now i have one cause my brother bought me one... here it is http://accessories.gateway.com/Acce...497/Digital+Cameras_316499/7004379_ProdDetail

i am obviusly not a pro so i dont need that, all i wanted is a little cheap camera 400-600 max...I was interested if anyone here would be interested in buying this... I am not selling it yet cause im trying to find if anyone here in town wants to buy it, if not then i will come here and if no one will buy it at a good price i will try to sell it on ebay.

this is for people who've been around here for a long time.. how much do you think this camera will go for on heere??

First off, try posting this in Hot Deals. Secondly how much did you use the camera, how old is it?

Welcome to At. That said, you would do better to post this in the For Sale/For Trade Forum before you get flamed.

Have a nice day.

It is expensive because it is new technology, 6 megapixels is pretty advanced.

For rookie programmers you can just get some manual camera, when my sister took photographer she got some Vivitar manual camera....should be a good start. Just merely pointing and shooting is NOT pro photography.

You probably want to put this in the FS/T forum.

FWIW, that camera is outmatched and outpriced by the Canon D10.

Since it's brand new, I suppose you could get about $2000-2100 for it. Check the lower prices on Pricegrabber and Ebay.

Do some of your own legwork. Look up reviews on both cameras.
Steve's Digicams, DPReview, Megapixel.net, all have good reviews.

with the canon D10 you need to buy lenses for it. The camera only come as a body with the required accessories such as battery and nothing else.

I think that's true right now but in 1-2 years I'm guessing things will be different

LOL! Sooo, not true. Many, many product/commercial photographers have moved to digital, as well as event, sports, and fashion glamour photographers.

And dammit folks, it's Canon 10D, not D10.

We use the Fuji S2 here for product photography, as well as a couple of Nikon D100's. I personnaly shoot with a Canon D60.
