I did the mistake of buying a gaming chair thinking it would be good, then found out that they are just made to LOOK good but are crap. I sold it to some poor sucker on FB who probably thought it was good too. My main issue with it was that it was just too wide. I think it was meant for a REAL gamer, like a 250 lb person that lives in their mother's basement and kicks all the noobs asses on WoW all day.

Finding a good quality office chair for home is tricky though. Most of the stuff Staples and Walmart sells is of meh quality. I have a Staples mesh chair that I bought online through their site and comfort wise it's good so far, but the arm rests are already starting to crack after only a few years, which sucks since I actually paid a decent amount of money for it.
I have a couple Steelcase chairs, which I think are fairly high end office chairs, lots of adjustments and show no wear to speak of. Bought used at used office supply outfit nearby at bargain prices at different times. I have hung an inflated back support structure on one of them. I don't sit in a chair for prolonged periods anymore. Any time I like, I can and do get up. Working at a computer I'm usually reclined using a laptop.

Steelcase chair similar to mine.
