My parents power suppy's fan just died so they need a new one. Is there any way to fix just the fan? Anyway, if there isn't are there any recommendations for a new power supply? There is an Antec 250W PS for $34 with free shipping i was looking at. Is that any good? Here are the specs for the computer:

The fan can be replaced if you have the soldering skills and don't electrocute yourself on the big capacitors in there. Replacing the power supply will be easier though. For a basic system, you don't need a whole bunch of power so you might consider this one at Onvia, they are having free 3-7 day shipping right now (make sure to select that shipping when going through the checkout). If you want a new fan for it, 2Cooltek, Teamawe and CaseEtc carry the quiet Panaflo L1A 80mm fans, or you can put any other 80mm x 25mm fan in there too.

The cover slide off pretty easy and some older powersupplys had plug in fans so it will be super easy. But it might be the headlight situation... you know a headlight burns out and you replace just one then by the end of the week you have to go to Murray's again to replace the other one. If the supply is older it can be real sad when they go south in an ungraceful manner. Had one blow a whole in a harddrive chipset. 200

Save yourself a lot of aggrivation, get an Enermax, and stay clear of the poor quality Antecs.

Hello Hagbard.....your Antec trashing skills are becoming better all the time. I suppose at least you havn't started bashing Antec in the Motherboards forum yet ;)
