My wife and I have been enjoying Chopin potato vodka for about two years now. I drink it on the rocks or mixed.

It's a tad expensive, so a friend introduced me to Teton Glacier, an Idaho potato Vodka. It's cheaper than Chopin and comes in a 1.75L bottle. I still prefer Chopin, but T.G. is some good drank.

LOVE IT

On the grain side, my faves are Stoli and Ketel. But I prefer the potatoes over the grains.

I'm not sure what kind I drink. Cheap stuff, like rail vodka at bars? Whatever that's made out of.

Both I mentioned above (Teton Glacier or Chopin).

I can't personally comment on Luksusowa, but I was buying a bottle in a liquor store about a month ago and I started chatting with an older gentleman in line. He exclusively drinks vodka and he said if I was a fan of T.G./Chopin I would be disappointed with Luks.

He could have been full of shit or full of alcohol, so I'll probably pick up 750ML to try it out.

Vodka is a strange beverage- people pay top dollar for a product where the highest quality has no taste at all. :)

I've been a vodka drinker since college. Recently I've discovered SKYY 90- this stuff is amazing. It's supposed to be the first vodka that is free from congeners (that nasty stuff that causes hangovers). I guess they distill is to 200 proof (100% alcohol) then add spring water to bring it back down below 100 proof.

VERY smooth. I used to be into Belvedere until I got Skyy for a gift two years ago. If you want to be authentic, you're supposed to take a shot of vodka followed by a swig of beer or juice. I skip the beer though and do a triple with three ice cubes, a shot of tonic, and a lemon twist thank you very much :)
