Any possible way to change region on DVD player?

Is there any possible way? I lost track of how many times to do it. I need to change it back to Region 1 (just one more change).
 
most of the DVDs will only allow 4 to 5 changes ..... even after a clean windows install ..... might wanna try a firm ware update
 
the DVD region change is monitored in the drive's firmware. Your best bet is to find an RPC-1 firmware for the drive (region free) and flash it with that
 
spend 30 bucks on a drive and use that as region one that way you have both regions you want. Also it's nice to have to change disks less often.
 
What drive do you have? If you can you should get RPC-1 firmware, RPC-2 firmware update might not reset the region count.

Just wondering, exactly what is a person supposed to do if there aren't any changes left, from the manufacturer and movie industry perspective, throw it out and buy a new one?

Buy DVDs from the appropriate region. 😉
